Burrard friend and favourite photographer, Christopher Papan, is at it again. He and his talented team were at The Burrard shooting some sizzling scenes this weekend. You may remember him from his first photoshoot here at The Burrard, or perhaps his this hot video shot the same day.

Burrard Blog for May 28th, 2012 From now until September 3rd, 2012 you can head down to the newly renovated Science World to check out the works of Da Vinci - The Genius.   From the Science World website:  This 10,000-square-foot exhibition features a vast array of full-scale machine inventions crafted from da Vinci’s personal notebooks; amazing anatomical sketches; reproductions of his most famous Renaissance art examined in extraordinary detail, including the Mona Lisa and the Virgin of the Rocks; and three-dimensional interactive presentations of the Last Supper and the Vitruvian Man. The best thing about Science World in Vancouver is that it sits right on the Seawall at the east end of False Creek which is just a 10 minute ride using one of our cruiser bikes! Vancouver-based indie rock group, Said the Whale, have smashed it again with this sweet video shot in here in Vancouver. Vote for them this week on MTVU’s Freshman of the Week contest if you dig their unique sound and adorable video as much as we did. 

Having just completed their Western Canada tour dates, they are currently in the UK showing the rest of the world just how awesome the music scene is here in Canada.

Have you heard? The Burrard is getting into the music business. Okay, not really. But as proud sponsors of Black Hen Music at the Electric Owl, we’re definitely groupies.  And that’s why we love this Vancouver-based group, Friends with the Help, and video.
