TedXVancouver 2012

People have great ideas all the time.  Just the other week we at the Burrard had this great idea to open up our own coffee shop connected to the hotel and call it Betty.  Great idea right?  Well we put that idea to the test, turned it into a reality, and you can visit it today as it’s now located on the main floor of The Burrard, but it never would have gotten anywhere without that original idea.

TedXVancouver is fond of ideas, or it would appear that ideas are what TedXVancouver is built upon.  Some of the greatest idea people in the world have appeared as part of the revolutionary idea spreading phenomenon TedTalks.  In one week we’ll be welcoming the speakers and organizers for TedXVancouver to our very hotel and we’re offering up special rates for all attendees.  Maybe you’ll come to Vancouver for TedXVancouver and get a chance to test out our own Betty and tell us how we did?
