Vancouver Hotel Guests Explore the City in Style with Easy-to-Ride, Chic Urban Bikes
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) March 19, 2013
City bike company Brooklyn Cruiser’s Driggs 3 and Willow 3 models will be available to guests at The Burrard in Vancouver beginning in April, the company announced today. Brooklyn Cruiser’s vintage-inspired bikes combine the function, comfort, and style of a classic European bike with the stable and smooth ride of a hybrid bike.
The Driggs 3 and Willow 3 models include the company’s signature double top tube, cream colored tires, preconditioned leather saddle and grips, and rear carrier racks. Bikes will be available to guests at no charge.
“We visited Vancouver several years ago and still regularly talk about what an amazing city it is,” said Brooklyn Cruiser President, Ryan Zagata. “We were thrilled when The Burrard expressed interest in offering our bikes to their guests and we cannot wait for Brooklyn Cruiser bikes to hit the streets of Vancouver,” he added.
“The Burrard is stoked to announce Brooklyn Cruiser as our new official hotel “ride.” Brooklyn Cruiser’s cool style combined with simple design make them the perfect fit for our guests to check out the city by bike,” said Dani Pretto, General Manager of The Burrard. “Our complimentary bike program for hotel guests has always been much appreciated, but I think the easy-to-ride style of Brooklyn Cruiser bikes will make the experience simply unforgettable. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with such a great company,” she added.

Great bike rides in Vancouver

Picnic-Final-Flat-FINAL

With sunshine promised on the Easter weekend, there are no more excuses not to get your bike cleaned up and go for a ride on Vancouver’s extensive network of bike paths and lanes. Here’s a list of five great bike rides put together by Tourism Vancouver’s.

If you want to fuel up with a coffee and immerse yourself in bike culture, pop in and visit our neighbours at the Musette Caffe, Vancouver’s first coffee shop for cyclists. It’s got a safe place to stash your bike and the decor pays homage to bike racing.

Whether you want to ride fast or slow, this weekend’s the time to start!
